Old State House Museum Virtual Tour

Constructed between 1833 and 1842, this Greek Revival Style structure is the oldest surviving state capitol building west of the Mississippi River. In the early 1900s, the state legislature moved to a new capitol building and this building became a medical school, a war memorial, and a community center. It now serves as a nationally recognized museum dedicated to showcasing and interpreting the history of the State of Arkansas, featuring a wide array of collections.
