Arkansas Black Voices: Shaping a Nation at 250

Arkansas Black Voices: Shaping a Nation at 250 is a multidisciplinary exhibition developed in partnership with the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The exhibition invites visitors to explore the essential and enduring contributions of Black Arkansans to shaping the nation’s growth.
Through personal narratives, historical artifacts, and photography, the exhibition highlights stories of resilience, creativity, leadership, and resistance. Many of the individuals featured are also honored members of the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame, underscoring their lasting impact on the cultural, social, political, and intellectual landscape of both Arkansas and the United States.
