Spring Break Camp

Celebrate Spring Break with engaging history and culture programs at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center through the Block-by-Block Spring Break Camp—a creative, hands-on learning experience inspired by a popular block-building video game. Designed for youth ages 8–14, the camp blends play, creativity, and education as participants explore the history of African Americans and agriculture through interactive building challenges, storytelling, and collaborative problem-solving.

Campers can expect a Community Garden Visit, a Cooking Matters Course, a special visit from 4-H animals, a Yoga and Mindfulness Session, and immersive exploration of agriculture and nutrition that connects food, land, culture, and community. Through guided activities, group projects, and meaningful cultural experiences, participants will gain a deeper appreciation for history while developing teamwork, critical thinking, and creative skills in a fun and dynamic environment.
